Donald Trump has hit back at Nancy Pelosi after she claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin has something over the former president.

While appearing on ‘The Ingraham Angle’, Trump was asked about the interview between Pelosi and Jen Psaki.

The former president said he knew the real Pelosi and called her “extremely overrated” and further criticised the pair saying, “With them, it’s all misinformation.”

Psaki asked Pelosi about Trump’s refusal to criticise Putin, “What do you think Putin has on him?”.

Pelosi began her answer by saying Trump should not be allowed to step “one foot into the White House,” before eventually answering Psaki’s question directly.

"I don't know what Putin has on Trump, but I think it's probably financial. It is probably financial. It's either something financial [Putin] has on [Trump] or something on the come, something that he expects to get,” she said.
