Melbourne Deputy Lord Mayor Nick Reece says the NDIS costs have “grown enormously”.

Mr Reece told Sky News host Steve Price that it is on track to be the “biggest single expenditure item in the budget”.

“I think Bill Shorten’s very across that and good operator.

“So, they are taking moves to get it under control.

“And that needs to happen.”
