Kim Jong Un is believed to have celebrated his 40th birthday this week.
The North Korean leader’s birthday has never been publicly confirmed by the secretive regime.
It is, however, believed to be January 8, 1984.
His father and grandfather, the previous two leaders of North Korea, had both of their birthdays celebrated as national holidays.
The closest the regime has come to publicising his birth date was four years ago when he received a birthday greeting from the then US president Donald Trump.
