Protesters storm Brazil’s government buildings

The supporters of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro have invaded the National Congress Building after months of protests against the October elections.

The protesters have also reportedly stormed the federal Supreme Court and the Presidential Palace.

Police are deploying tear gas to subdue the rioting.

Bolsonaro supporters have refused to accept the election result, calling for the military to overthrow new President Lula da Silva.
