over 1 year in news

World leaders have condemned a threat from Russian President Vladimir Putin to use nuclear weapons, as Moscow mobilises some 300,000 reservists to bolster its military efforts against Ukraine's counter-offensives.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong has called it an "unthinkable and irresponsible" move, while the Opposition has called on the government to accelerate extra assistance to Ukraine.

Sky News Australia discussed the issue with Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham.
