A massive shelf cloud passed over the Twin Cities area as the National Weather Service warned southern Minnesota of severe thunderstorms on Tuesday, July 12. This timelapse video posted by David Martin shows an ominous cloud formation blowing over Greenwood, Minnesota, during sunset on Tuesday.
