Greens Leader Adam Bandt’s refusal to display the Australian flag behind the lectern at his press conference is a “kick in the guts for patriotic Australians,” says Sky News Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson.

“Could you imagine a senator or a House of Congress MP in the United States doing something like this?”, he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“You think about the way in which he’s dividing the country by these sorts of actions.”
