UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has survived a Conservative Party confidence vote.

1922 Committee Chairman Sir Graham Brady announced in the House of Commons on Monday evening there were 211 confidence votes for Mr Johnson and 148 against him.

Mr Johnson has been facing pressure to resign following revelations from the Sue Gray report into parties which occurred at Downing Street while COVID-19 restrictions were in place across the UK.
