CWI Four Day Champs Rain washes out 2nd day of final round matches

PERSISTENT rainfall washed out the second day of matches, in the final round of the West Indies Four Day Championship.
The covers stayed on the pitches at the Queen’s Park Oval, where the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are facing Guyana Harpy Eagles; the Diego Martin Sporting Complex (Barbados Pride versus Windward Islands Volcanoes) and the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba (Leeward Islands Hurricanes versus Jamaica Scorpions).
The TT Meteorological Office issued a yellow-level adverse weather alert on Wednesday, with effect from 8 am on Thursday until 2 pm on Friday.
The three matches are expected to conclude on Saturday.
