Chinese warship highlights ‘serious times’ PM

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says China is keeping a “close eye on us” and Australia will “always be keeping a close eye on them”.

Mr Morrison gave his first remarks regarding the PLA warship which has been tracked off the coast of Western Australia, which Defence Minister Peter Dutton described as an “act of aggression”.

“I think what these events highlight is the serious times in which we're living,” Mr Morrison said.
