Sky News host Laura Jayes says the federal budget announced last month is “already out of date” with inflation now at 5.1 per cent.

“This government, its own budget paper said that by the middle of the year – pretty much now – inflation would be at 4.25 per cent. It’s already blown out of the water,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“This is what the election boils down to.”
