The Herald Sun's James Campbell describes Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese’s first campaigning day as a “disaster”, saying it showed the “work hadn’t been done.”

“Liberal operatives, Liberal MP’s, Liberal ministers, the people around the Prime Minister are pinching themselves,” Mr Campbell told Sky News Australia.

“They can’t quite believe that this is going the way it’s going.”
