Voters were ‘fed up’ with Turnbull’s ‘interventions’ Angus Taylor

about 3 years in news

Energy Minister Angus Taylor says former prime ministers have a role to play in public life "but it's got to be the right role", saying voters are "fed up" with Malcolm Turnbull's "interventions".

"I saw that many of our supporters were fed up with Malcolm's interventions, just as we've seen Labor voters fed up with Kevin Rudd's interventions," he said.

"But when someone from a city turns up in the country area, like where my electorate is and tell ys how to live, what cars to drive, what jobs we can have, we don't appreciate it."
