British university ‘spending thousands’ on statue of ‘global warming extremist’ Greta Thunberg

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says a British university is spending around $40,000 on a statue of "global warming extremist" Greta Thunberg.

"The university says the statue is to inspire students," Mr Bolt said.

Mr Bolt discussed the issue with NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham.

"Well how dare they ... how dare they waste all that money on someone who was wagging school, sailing around on a boat hectoring adults about what they should do on a big public policy issue," Mr Latham said.

"The best lesson for university students is put your head down, study your books, get your degree and move on to a successful life".

"So I don't see how Greta is a role model for anything".
