O’Brien not ‘cutting through’ despite Andrews’ lockdowns

Political consultant Jim Middleton says Michael O’Brien has not cut through in Victoria despite the lockdowns and the hotel quarantine bungles.
The Liberal leader today survived a challenge from Brad Battin, defeating him 22 votes to 9.
Mr Middleton however said it’s not over and Mr O’Brien is vulnerable.
“There is deep dissatisfaction within the ranks of the Victorian Liberal Party about the performance of Michael O’Brien.
“I suspect we may see another challenge at some time.”
