New South Wales Labor had “better get a wriggle on” or the fate of the WA Liberal Party awaits them, according to Sky News host Alan Jones.

“The knives are out for Jodi McKay – the New South Wales Labor Leader,” Mr Jones said.

“According to this leaked poll, the Labor vote in New South Wales has dropped 8.4 per cent since the 2019 election”.

“The primary vote is at 23.9, the lowest recorded by New South Wales Labor since 1904”.

“Everyone knows the answer, they chose the wrong person as leader.”

Mr Jones said they “had the chance” to choose Chris Minns.

“They had better get a wriggle on in New South Wales, or the fate of the WA Liberal Party awaits them.”

The WA election saw the incumbent Labor government pick up 52 seats, leaving the state’s Liberal Party – under Zak Kirkup – with just two seats.
