WA election a contest of ‘experience versus inexperience’ McGowan

about 3 years in news

Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan says today's state election is a contest of "experience versus inexperience", labelling Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup "risky".

"Our opponents are risky and inexperienced. They are not ready for government. We saw that yesterday with their costings announcement. They haven't done the work that's needed," he said.

The Premier comfortably leads Mr Kirkup in the latest Newspoll, 79 per cent to 13 per cent on better premier, and enjoys an 88 per cent approval rating.
