Protests continued in Myanmar on February 18 following the military takeover of the country and the detention of political leaders including President Win Myint and Aung San Suu Kyi. This footage, posted by Twitter user @Mia_Art_World, shows an elderly woman on the sidelines of protests in Mandalay on Thursday. “Mandalay will come back stronger than ever every time,” @Mia_Art_World wrote. “She is a 75 years old. She is also against military coup.” On Friday, a 20-year-old protester died when her life support was turned off after being shot in the head in Naypyitaw last week.
