Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) candidate for Micoud North, Jeremiah Norbert, sustained ‘serious’ injury to his leg in a motorcycle accident Wednesday, emergency personnel have confirmed. According to reports the accident occurred near the Mahaut junction shortly before 5.00 pm. An ambulance transported Norbert to hospital. There are no further details at this time.
