US congressional and military leaders paid respects to Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick as his cremated remains lay in honor at the Capitol on February 3. Sicknick, a military veteran, died after pro-Trump rioters attacked the Capitol on January 6. Sicknick’s remains were transferred on Tuesday evening to the Capitol, where President Biden paid his respects. This footage shows Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, as well as Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley among those who paused at Sicknick’s remains.
