Sky News host Paul Murray says the American media turn “every controversy,” including the recent altercation between the President and a former adviser, into an opportunity to “scandalise” Donald Trump in the eyes of the public before the election.

The United States Department of Justice has initiated legal proceedings to prevent the release of Former National Security Adviser John Bolton’s book which covers his time at the White House.

Mr Murray said for the media “it was all about coronavirus because it was a proxy for being all about Trump”.

“Black Lives matter was a proxy for being all about Trump”.

“The Bolton book is now going to be the proxy for all about Trump”.
