NSW Chief medical officer, Dr Kerry Chant, has reported a man in his 60s, who had been diagnosed with Covid-19, had died. Dr Chant said the man had underlying health conditions.
The man is the 46th to die in NSW and the 99th death across Australia

Chief Executive of Anglicare, Grant Millard says the situation at Newmarch House is now “very solid”, and isn’t concerned with a Royal Commission investigating the outbreak at the house.
In the five weeks since the first case of covid-19 at the home was diagnosed 18 residents have died, and 71 people have been infected.“We haven’t had any infection since the 28th of April. I think things are very much under control now. It was a vastly different situation two weeks ago. It was extremely challenging, everyone was stretched,” he told ABC radio this morning.
