At least five people were killed as severe weather tore through north Georgia on Sunday, April 12, and into the early morning hours on Monday, local media reported. Officials told local media that at least five people were killed in Chatsworth, Georgia, with damage concentrated across two mobile home parks. Reports said more than 20 injured people were also taken to the hospital. The National Weather Service confirmed a “probable tornado” in Upson County, according to local media reports citing forecasters.
