Stephen T. "Steve" Jurvetson (born March 1, 1967) is an American businessman and venture capitalist. He is currently a partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ). He was a venture capitalist investor in Hotmail. He also led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras (acquired by Ariba and Ciena, respectively). Current board seats include SpaceX, Synthetic Genomics, Planet Labs, Nervana Systems (acquired by Intel), Flux, D-Wave, and Tesla.
