Rosemary Barton is a Canadian political journalist, currently the Parliament Hill correspondent for CBC News, and the host of Power & Politics on CBC News Network.On August 1, 2017, she was named a co-anchor of CBC's flagship news broadcast, The National.Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Barton began working in journalism as a researcher for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's French-language news network RDI before becoming a National Assembly of Quebec correspondent for Global News.
