Megan Davis (born 1975) is an Aboriginal activist and human rights lawyer. She was the first indigenous Australian to sit on a United Nations body and she is now Chair of a UN permanent forum.Davis was born in Monto in 1975. Her family moved along the Queensland Railway. Her ancestry is Australian, Aborigine and South Pacific islander. She was in time brought up by a single parent and one of her earliest interests was the United Nations General Assembly.
