John Pass (born 1947 in Sheffield, England) is a Canadian poet. He has lived in Canada since 1953, and was educated at the University of British Columbia.He has published 19 books of poetry since 1971. His book Stumbling in the Bloom won the 2006 Governor General's Award for English poetry. His most recent book "crawlspace" (Harbour Publishing, 2011) won the Dorothy Livesay Prize (BC Best Book Award in Poetry) in 2012.Pass taught English at Capilano University from 1975 to 2007.
