Karsten Warholm (born 28 February 1996) is a Norwegian track and field athlete who competes in various running and jumping events. He won the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in the 400 m hurdles event, the first world championship gold medal for Norway since 2009 and first in a track event since 1987.He won eight gold medals in the Norwegian Youth Championship indoors in Steinkjer in 2013.In the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics at Donetsk, Ukraine, he won gold in Boys' octathlon with 6451 points, a personal best.
